10 kilometres from Agios Nikolaos, the cosmopolitan Elounda has a hint of luxuriousness as well as natural superiority. The beach of Plaka extends to 5 kilometres in length, with clear blue water and incomparable view to the islet of Spinalonga. It will certainly make you stop to admire it.

Spinalonga
A location connected with the fate of patients in the leper hospital that closed in 1965 when the cure was found for the sickness, Spinalonga is surrounded by a strange aura and the islet is truly remarkable.

Zakros
